Forest Drive and Bay Ridge Road are the main access roads on the peninsula. Forest begins at Chinquapin Round Rd. and ends at Hillsmere Rd. about 3 miles later. The road becomes Bay Ridge Rd. which continues for 1.5 miles until ending at the Chesapeake Bay.
Forest Drive has significant traffic congestion. At its’ western ingress from Aris T. Allen, at Chinquapin Round Road, for one mile ’til it intersects Spa Road, traffic engineers give it a grade of F, meaning its’ intersections are failed and too clogged.

Urban density works when road capacity and transportation facilities are already in place. Build the infrastructure first. Then residences and retail will naturally and reasonably follow!
